Volunteers are integral to our success in helping people overcome the obstacles they face. There are many volunteer opportunities available, including special events, committee work, maintenance, group child care and parent relief. Without the loyal support of the many dedicated volunteers who help us each year our services would not be possible.

Early Learning Centres
Volunteers assist the Early Learning Centre staff, caring for children while their parents attend a variety of lifeskills programs or parenting groups offered at Bethlehem Housing and Support Services. They also help provide social/recreational programming to the School Age Club (children 6-12 years of age).

Bethlehem Place Office Support
Volunteers work in the Bethlehem Place Front Office, at 58 Welland Avenue, answering the telephones, front door and doing other related jobs as needed.

In addition, special teams of volunteers are called upon, from time-to-time, to complete special jobs such as making calls for the phonathon, folding newsletters, mailing information to members, etc.

Maintenance
Volunteers assist the maintenance staff with various jobs, such as painting, yard work, small repairs etc. From time to time, we require a person with a truck who can help us pick up and drop off donated items.

Special Events
Volunteers help out with our special events throughout the year, such as at Bingo, Golf Tournaments, etc.
